Still 16 points behind us - 4 wins on top of whatever else we get, with 6 games left.

Means Saints still can't relax - the threat remains

LI.. Wasps (A), Glos (H), Quins (A), Exeter (H), Sarries (H), Bath (A)
Wuss.. Tigers (H), Sale (A), Falcons (H), Wasps (A), Quins (H), Saints (A)
Saints.. Sale (H), Falcons (A), Sarries (H), Tigers (A), Wasps (A), Wuss (H)

Not sure if there’s much difference in the run in between the three, ours is looking tasty. Irish best chances are Quins and Glos which would require 2 other wins against Wasps, Chiefs or Sarries or a probable must win last game away at Bath and would need a BP along the way. Still extremely unlikely.

Good for Irish. We are not going to be relegated.

Saw that. Embarrassing to be played in such a big football stadium if I'm honest. I know it's Irish's home ground but from reports the gate hasn't been great all season

In the good old days LI were predominately Irish. Unfortunately, they have lost their identity and hence their support. In contrast, have kept a thriving academy, but most graduates seem to move elsewhere though.

That's not really true. Gates are low because we have been playing increasingly poor rugby for most of this decade (for a variety of reasons) and we don't have a large traditional local base to fall back on.

During our high water mark for both attendance and performance (2006-2009) we had about as few Irish in the squad as we do these days.

Our gates back in Sunbury when it was a team full of Irishmen were lower than they are now for the most part.
