Anyone have a good link/source to watch some highlights? Interesting based on this small snippet that they were bullied up front which was one of the main questions on an earlier thread about how Saints will look to play next season (and beyond) - will we look to play fast and get shoved around by the bigger packs in the Prem/Europe?

I think it's pretty hard to draw any in depth conclusions about how we're going to play based on how the Hurricanes under Boyd play currently.

I would hope, like any good coach, he develops a distinct playing style for Northampton based on the players we have, the opposition we face and the resources available to him to sign new players.

Always get weird results at the start of super rugby season

Especially the games at altitude in South Africa (Bulls and Lions).

The foreign sides literally can’t run for the last 20 minutes.

I watched this game and can't say I agree with the Telegraph report. The Hurricanes were playing their first match and at altitude and could easily have won. IMO they were victims of some poor refereeing decisions at times. They probably did run out of steam towards the end which isn't surprising. I didn't see a lot of "bullying" by the Bulls pack. To lose your opening game 21-19 in SA is no big deal and their backs were frighteningly rapid at times.
