Anyone stopped to ask themselves was George even selected this week!?

If he wasn’t - why shouldn’t he be doing something else given the travel chaos between South Wales and the Midlands

All this vitriol based on a one sided viewpoint after a strange comment from a stand in dor

Gafney’s latest interview (on injured players) infers some of the guys that went off injured with HIA didn’t want to come back on.. unlike HB, who did

Given that’s my brother who was knocked clean out and is immediately prevented from returning, then his message is at best very clumsy

You appear not to care too much for our "stand in DoR" ?

Where in Gafney's comments does he say or even infer to Day. Ever thought he was referring to the attitude generally of the squad.

Doesn't shed any more light on it

I take the no comment as they’re looking at disciplinary action. If it was all a miss-understanding they’d nip it in the bud now.

Does George not have a full release clause for Wales duty in his contract? In which case that means its up to the WRU if they release him to play for Northampton during the international period. Gaffney was likely frustrated that North wasn't made available for Saints for this game, so made a comment suggesting that the players who did play are more committed as they don't have full release clauses for international duty.

The view in Wales seems to be that North did nothing wrong and that Gaffney was completely out of order in making such a comment in a public way.

Beeb article impyling North had a previous agreement with JM to not play six nations rest weekends: [www.bbc.co.uk]

Sounds like he assumed the agreement stood, Gaffney had no idea about it and neither side spoke to the other. All in all, a microcosm of the poor culture and communication between players and coaches at the club

Honestly, I'm not bothered. He has gone. When he was here we very occasionally saw a decent player but He spent a lot of time stood on the wing or off with wales. Hopefully his name on the books brought in a few extra season tickets as we did not see value for money on the pitch. He is very unlikely to play again so we can move on and worry about signing some players who might win us a game.

i think the real shame in this whole fiasco is the game time GN has robbed the likes of Tom Collins, Nafi, Estelles etc.
Wind back to the AW friday night home game v Quins when GN played and TC had to be happy with doing fitness sprints on the pitch. For some reason we were more than happy to let GN use us for game time to get fit for Wales duty whilst stopping some of our other wingers getting valuable game time to set us up for the more important games we've had
i like GN but time to blood the younger guys who are our future
