Jamie Roberts to join Bath at the end of the season. I wonder if it was part of yesterday move in the other direction?

Weird to think I'm not jealous of Bath signing him despite Roberts being a guy with over a 100 caps including being a Test Lion on 2 tours. So a legend of the game.

I guess the law changes don't play to his undoubted strengths.

Personally I think Bath made a mistake not meeting Banahan's slightly increased wage demands and lost a player who could cover centre and wing and whilst he never cut it internationally delivers better than plenty of internationals at club level. I suspect Roberts is also on more money.

Slight? it was a 50% increase AND an extra year; for a 32 year old winger who's starting to show his age.
