Couldn't agree more, Chris. Has been influential in attack and defence and is probably one of our better leaders. Also one of our top try scorers.

My thoughts are with Rob for a full recovery.

If he's still in hospital with issues with his arm, it sounds more serious than concussion which explains why the medics took 9 mins to stretcher Rob off.

Above everything else I hope you make a full recovery Rob. It would also be good to see you back in the black, green and gold next season as you've been fantastic this season, in a season of few positives.

I am really hoping Rob makes a full recovery. A shining light in a season of gloom.

Putting his body on the line for our entertainment.

Get well soon Rob.

Best wishes to Rob Horne for a speedy recovery - knew he'd been knocked out but hadn't realised till this morning that he'd injured his arm as well. Incidentally, I've been following Saints for over 50 years, and been a ST holder for 30 - Horne, to the best of my recollection, is the only Saints Captain to have a 100% winning record!

hope the arm injury doesn't turn out to be nerve damage cased by the blow to the head?

Poor guy - injured in the first minute of his captaincy debut. I very much doubt this is the last time he'll captain the team though. Maybe even a future club captain.

His commitment to the cause has been one of the stand out positives in this ghastly season - other big-name SH internationals might have been looking for the door after the debut year we've give him!

All the very best to Rob. I am sure the whole Saints community are wishing him a full and speedy recovery.

As others have said, he has been a stand out performer in this terrible season.

Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery. Agree he has been a rare ray of light in a fairly dismal year.

Dowse stayed with him in hospital until very late on Saturday night.

Good job too! You don't leave a man down on his own in Leicester when the natives are grumpy, do you!

Talking to a saints player yesterday it seems that this injury is pretty serious. However these things can change quickly.
Suffice to say we all wish him a speedy recovery.
Goes to show how dangerous this game can be.

Nice to see him acknowledging the staff at LRI and well wishers. I hope he is soon back in Northamptonshire and fully recovered. There again we may be plying him with orange cheese and pork pies to seduce him to stay winking smiley

I don't believe in fate, preferring to think you make your own. But after a week in which we are told that RH had been a big influence in training and a transformed team turned out, only for him to be injured, I just think this is not our year.
One of the outstanding players of the year, let's hope he has a good recovery and is available for next season.

Very best wishes for a full and speedy (as possible) recovery agree with all the above about his influence skills and ability a real asset and Captain to lead us onward and upward roll on Sept.

To be honest, I'm worried by the injury.
I didn't see it because the power at home dropped out for a few seconds just before kickoff and the Virgin box took a few minutes to come back up, by which time Horne was down and being attended to. I haven't looked for a replay of it as I don't really like seeing people get hurt.
The neck injury is bad enough, but then we find out there's a serious arm injury receiving specialist treatment. I really hope this isn't career-ending levels of serious - it would be an awful shame if his time as captain only lasted 13 seconds.

It was the other side of the ground to me, but I have seen on the recording. Looks like he went for a big hit to lead by example. I donít think he was knocked out he was talking and moving his legs. But he didnít look to clever and the took him straight to hospital. Wishing him a very speedy recovery

I re-watched the game last night, I don't think he lost consciousness and as said above he was talking throughout and legs were moving.
