Two games for squad development, now one game for match practice before the Prem returns. Sounds pragmatic and sensible to me.

But he isn't mentioned in not available for selection?

Maybe he has passed and gone through the protocols, but like Dylan wasn't able to train fully, so may not be totally match fit, so not selected?

As Neil-H infers there are two other players shown as not available as they have concussion - hence my question - but Neil may well be right about lack of general fitness although usually the best cure for that is to play in a match.

He was picked last week as passed protocols but then withdrew as not feeling ‘quite right’. I presume his absence this week is a continuation of that. Echoes of Mallinders lengthy absence last season for me.

Good to see Hill back though.

Good to see Paul Hill return to action. I'm kind of resigned to not seeing Heinz or Haskell too much, and to be honest I'm not too fussed if it means Lewis can continue to get minutes under his belt.

Massive congratulations to Mike Haywood on his 200th appearance for Saints.

Glos basically putting out a senior team. Should be good experience for our youngsters.

Big game for Young Furbank and Dingwall I feel.

With a willingness to give our youth and academy and chance to show they can feel the slots made available by injury.
This is a pretty close too full strength Gloucester team so will show where they are at.
I like the back row, feel Wood will add some grunt too it.

Big game for Will David also. Can he provide a better scrum.

Looking forward too it, good luck boys.
