was listening to the egg-chasers last week and they referenced Ashton. Especially his recent change to Full-back

Given his reading of the game offensively I can see that h would be a good full-back - knowing well how to come into the line. I would only be concerned about his ability in a head-on tackle, which happens a bit as a full-back, as Ashy isn't great at them

It was also noticeable they talked about the French attitude that he might give 1 try away defensively, but score 2 - so comes out ahead. In England they would focus only on the negative and therefore not care how many tries were scored.

I do always find it weird that those same people who say no to Ashton on the basis of a few defensive blobs, talk up George ford on the basis of his superior attacking skills - in a complete reversal of the same logic
