Trying hard not to be negative here but I posted my thoughts on kai and Rass a while ago, in that we knew their quality and there wasn't really a decision to make if they wanted to stay at sixways.
Perhaps we should remember all the postings about loyalty that flooded this board when our youngest and finest looked to pastures new ?
Surely loyalty works both ways ? Kai has had one injury affected season and is dropped like a hot potato.
What was all the rubbish Richard was spouting about giving kai "a chance to prove himself" when today in the Worcester News he sited his lack of size and ball carrying ability as the reason for his release ?
Kai's release may have made good business sense but had very little to do honesty and loyalty, something I happen to think still should have a place in our game.
I've never considered myself a "supporter" more an "addict" who has been turning up since the mid-nineties.
I don't consider the club owes me anything as I have some great memories like Nick Baxter's cartwheel try over Liverpool S.H. That awful winning penalty against Bristol in the cup and that great feeling of relief when we finally achieved promotion to the top division.
I've embraced professionalism from shelling out my first fiver to a few seasons later sitting next to Cecil watching the first ever game from the South Stand to finally watching our crowd figures rise to what they are today.
I've never demanded entertaining Rugby and learnt to appreciate things like a John Brain rolling maul as a thing of beauty.
The thing I appreciated most was the feeling of belonging to a real Rugby Club and all that goes with it.
The release of these two loyal players has brought it home to me that I simply don't feel that way about the club anymore.
As I said I'm an addict so the wanderers will find themselves with an extra fan next year,
I'm mindful of the "keyboard warrior" postings in writing this and am happy to discuss my thoughts face to face if anyone cares to pm me
