I absolutely agree with you. We couldn't ask for any more from the players thus far so why pick them? They are going to need to up their game to get in the team now. That is what is going to make a difference. This way, we won't get a mermoz who is coasting...we will get a mermoz who needs to be at the top of his game. Ditto with flood.

My one concern is the pressure on the prop forwards who have played an awful lot of rugby already. I would have looked at maybe being Sami a start, for example.

I think it is a really important game. The win at bath doesn't mean much if we lose at home to an Irish side that are going to be RABIDLY motivated.

By the way, I wouldn't swap green, witty, taka, cooper or goneva for any other players in the league.
