Would it not be wise to give everyone time off to fully recover? Of course it may well be non-contact training.

Haskell saying some interesting stuff this week (no, really) about how he reckons the data collected from games and training isn't used very well, and that some coaches just carry on with the regular training sessions because they think they have to, and are scared of being the first to stop, not necessarily because they are gaining much from them.

I seem to recall that Sarries have a pretty light training load during the week.

Perhaps they could hook the players up to electric shock things, make them re-watch the matches, and for every brainless penalty they gave away, give them a zap.
