Completely agree with you there Eif. North, Priestland, Lydiate, Faletau, Scott Williams and Warburton have fallen firmly on their feet in international rugby, and you can probably add Lloyd Williams and Cuthbert to that list as well. Wales are not 4 years further down the line than England, but they are certainly 1, maybe 2.
However, I do still believe that without their first choice props, Wales are nowhere near as dominant and their set-piece largely goes to pot - whereas England have relative depth in that area, with the likes of Corbisiero, Cole and Hartley improving with every game.
Out of interest Eif, what did you make of the English performance?
Personally, off the back of that performance, I believe we have a very bright future ahead of us. If we can find a natural openside from somewhere, as well as a little more creativity in the backline, then we could be on the verge of becoming a top class side once again.
