Third Place Beckons

Bye To Tupai

By Blues Ed
April 27 2018

All we need is a bonus point win at Goldington Road to ensure a superb third place in the Championship - we would have settled for that back in August.

No doubt Richmond will be wanting a say in our destiny and arrive having had an excellent season themselves on their return to the second tier.

The game will definitely be memorable as we say goodbye to Paul Tupai  who is retiring and  coach Martin Hynes who is moving on.

Not surprisingly we make a dozen changes tio the side which was asked to play a midweek game at Nottingham - only Ed Taylor, Paul Tupai and Elliot Clements-Hill start again.

Blues:15. Rich Lane 14. Elliot Clements-Hill 13. Rory Hutchinson 12. Michael Le Bourgeois (capt) 11. Dean Adamson 10. Will Hooley 9. Lee Dickson 1. Sean McCarthy 2. Tom Lindsay 3. Ben Cooper 4. Ed Taylor 5. Jordan Onojaife6. Paul Tupai 7. Alex Rae 8. Huw Worthington

Reps: Jacob Fields,  Camilo Parilli-Ocampo,  Alex Penny , Josh Buggea,  Ben Adams , Jordan Burns,  Chris Czekaj
