Surprisingly no comment on last night’s game so far......,

It was a spirited performance by the Blues many of who's players were certainly playing for a place in the Bedford line for next season.

The result was enviable against a team from the Premiership, who shortly after the restart of the second half sent on seven players inside two minutes, the fresh legs and with the wind behind them making all the difference.

As mentioned a excellent performance by the many in our team, their were the usual errors in the lineout and failing to find touch, all of which could have been blamed on the windy conditions.

The packed ground was heaving and with the official attendance given was around 3800....

An enjoyable fixture against an old rival, watched in good humour by all, many thanks to the Saints for filling the gap originally occupied by London Welsh.

Bedford 17 (10) Saints 52 (19).....I think
