Jordan Burns

Another sizzling game at Castle Park as the Blues fought back to level the scores at 25 apiece only for  Donny to set themselves up with a drop goal to win the game .. what happened next  ?? ..

... fortunately for the Blues Simon Humberstone's effort was just wide so honours ended even - a fair result on the day.

We'd gone ahead in the first half but were 25-15 down with a quarter fo the game left.

Never say die Blues kept on fighting with Will Hooley notching a penalty before Jordan Burns touched down in the corner.

It was tricky conversion but Hooley nailed it to level the scores.

We slipped one place to fourth and are level on 29 points with Nottingham.

We have an intreresting home fixture against Hartpury College on Friday. The side is closely linked to Gloucester, who have the College name on their first team shirts, and have had a meteoric rise up the league structure with many arguing they are not a proper rugby "club."

Their rise may well habve bottoimed out as they sit in ninth place having won three games.  Could one ever envisage Gloucestr having two sides in the Premiership? Just a thought.
