Hooley

What a game. The Blues gave leaders Ealing Trailfinders a real shock as we raced into a 18-0 lead only to lose the advatage and then fail at the last hurdle with a missed Will Hooley drop goal ..

It was hard to take but this 23-24 defeat shows just how far we have come this season and nobody would have begrudged us the win.

Our first half tries came from Le Booj and Dean Adamson. Trailfinders came back in front of a big crowd and at 18-17 the next score seemingly the vital one. Alex Rae got it but the mkissed con mean that Trailfindfers were still less than one score behind.

To their credit they nailed it with a catch and drive which was converted.

We had the last chance but Hooley's drop goal attempt was pulled wide and it was to be the last play of a pulsating game.
