Fourth v Third

Blanchet - Canada Action

By Blues Ed
January 18 2019

The Reds have made Jersey a real fortress so far this sesaon so a win for the Blues on the island would be another massive boost after our victory over Trailfinders last week ..

It could not be set up any better. The Reds are fourth and we, of course, are third but both teams are on 38 points.

We have one new face on show with Matt Worley signing on dual-reg from Saints and coming straight in at outside-centre -Will Hooley is injured so Lewis Robling takes the 10 shirt.

There's a few  more changes up front with Charlie Clare back at hooker, Will Carrick-Smith at lock and Justin Blanchet celebrating his call-up for Canada by  replacing the injured Oli Curry.

Blues: 15. Rich Lane 14. Ryan Hutler 13. Matt Worley 12. Chris Czekaj 11. Dean Adamson 10. Lewis Robling 9. Lee Dickson (capt) 1. Sean McCarthy 2. Charlie Clare 3. Alex Penny 4. Will Carrick-Smith 5. Mark Flanagan 6. Justin Blanchet 7. Josh Buggea 8. Jarad Williams.

Reps: Jacob Fields, Toby Trinder, Ben Cooper, Ed Taylor, Huw Worthington, James Lennon, Jake Sharp
