Easter is on it's way and so is Connacht's European Challenge Cup 1/4 against Northampton Saints. Drawn away to the Saints, Connacht face a really tough challenge and the lads will really need your support. So if you've decided to take the bull by the horns and are going over for the big game of the season so far, here's some information to help you along your way...

TICKETS:


Connacht Rugby has an allocation of tickets, a mixture of seated and standing accommodation. The Seated tickets are in the corner of the ground between the Church's & South Stands, The Standing tickets are in Section D of the Gordon Terrace which is in front of the Tetley's stand.

 

My suggestion if you are there to get involved are happy to stand and willing to make as much noise as possible would be to purchase tickets in the Terrace, but wherever you do chose to by buy please make sure you bring your colours (Connacht please, your club jerseys are for club tours), your beer vouchers, flags and banners and most importantly your singing voices....

Adults £22.00 / €25.50      Concessions   £13.00 / €15         Juniors     £13.00/€15

South West Block Q:
Adults £26.00 / €30          Concessions £18.00 / €21          Juniors     £14.00 / €16

Concessions are over 65 years and students and juniors are under 16 years.

Flying & Rail

The Closest airports to Northampton are Luton, East Midland (Nottingham) and Birmingham. You can also fly into Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted but travel times will be longer.

From Airport

 

§  From Luton Airport (62.4KM)

o    - Coach connection to Milton Keynes and direct train to Northampton (See Bulletin)

§  From Birmingham Airport (78.5 KM)

o    - Direct Train service (See Bulletin)

§  From East Midlands Airport (85Km)

o    - Avoid unless you're planning on hiring a car and driving.

  • From Stansted (107KM direct, 139KM via Motorway)
    • Trains via London only - Liverpool Street and then change to London Euston to Northampton service. (See Bulletin)
  • From Heathrow (110KM)
    • Piccadilly Line Tube to Euston and then change to London Euston to Northampton service. (See Bulletin)

Description

Engineering work between Rugby and Northampton

From Saturday 11 until 12:00 on Monday 13 April, London Midland trains will be replaced but buses between Rugby and Northampton

Engineering work between Cheddington and Northampton

From Saturday 11 and until 13:30 on Monday 13 April London Midland trains will be replaced by buses between Milton Keynes Central and Northampton

 

Getting Rail Tickets:

  • You can pre-order tickets online for delivery to your home address,
  • Alternatively you can purchase them for collection at your departure station (via machine & credit card you booked online with - the website will confirm which station offers this service, usually Mainline Stations only)
  • Best option is to buy them at the station
