Where will we finish in the league?

Where will we finish at the end of the 2008-9 season? I am aware that supporters have already registered their votes on other sites but times have certainly changed since then. For a start, too many players have left, and too few players have arrived. Least we forget, last season’s squad was one of the smallest in the league, yet we finished a credible 9th.

When making your decision you may need to ponder over certain questions.  Such as: Are the remaining players good enough?  Will the squad avoid/withstand an injury nightmare? Will new players come in?  Is the mental state of the players strong enough?

 

This is not an exhaustive list, but they may influence your decision.  To cast your vote simply press your preferred finish position, then press the submit button.

I think it's an exteremely poor reflection on AG and his management team that there has been nothing by way of publicity to support the momentum of the fund raising efforts. The offy site is absolutely bereft of meaningfull information about where the club goes from here, about players recruitment, about plans for training, about the security of the club, etc, etc.
Whilst it has been a monumental effort to have saved the club on the part of the public, the lack of parallel publicity and communication from the club is nothing short of shameful, offensive and, dare I say it, reflects the long cherished tradition of the club management whoever it may be (Sugrue, KF, AG) of "mushroom management" (keep 'em in the dark and sh*t on 'em).
Given the incredible efforts of the Cov public, AG ought to be thoroughly ashamed of his total lack of publc response and of anything approaching open communication.

........even worse is at this rate his extortionate admin wage bill will be more than the players wage bill? ...."Life's all about prioritising", at a rugby club it would be nice to have a few players to watch?(Sm147)

I think we will be ok, I'll go for 10th, with guys like Laurie McGlone and Tommy Hayes(if we can keep him) we should have enough leadership to drag us through.

The only real worry is that injuries in a squad this small could cripple us. But provided we can stay mainly injury free we should be ok.
