England have won two games from two so far

England Women U20 Coach Jo Yapp has announced the match day 23 to face Canada in their final game of the Tri-Nations Cup on Saturday 18 August at Wanderers Grounds, Halifax.

Live online via Rugby Canada with kick off at 8pm BST, this is the third game of the tour for England Women U20, who are now two from two having defeated Canada 22-36 last Friday and then USA 43-17.

Red Roses Abby Dow and Hannah Botterman come into the starting 15 with Wasps wing Dow scoring twice in the side’s opening victory against their hosts and then rested against USA. Saracens prop Botterman is set to make her first appearance of the tour.

In addition, Yapp makes 10 positional changes to the starting 15 with Lagi Tuima moving from full back to outside centre and Lucy Attwood moving from inside centre to fly half.

Yapp said: “The last game against Canada was a really physical encounter and we are expecting the same again on Saturday. Although we've had a short turnaround between games we are pleased with how the players have recovered.

“We have learnt a lot over this tour about players and we are looking forward to our final game with this squad.”
