It's going to be interesting to see how many of the 6 Nations players will feature in this game, particularly from a Sarries point of view.  Both sides may be said to have been misfiring during the 6N period whilst still picking up valuable points.  If Sarries have the likes of Kruis, Itoje, Vuniplola (2) and Farrell in Saturday's squad and with home advatage you'd not be criticised for fancying them for the win.  However, whilst the Chiefs have not had the same number of players on International duty we have been gradually seeing a return of some injured players, notably Henry Slade.  There is also the small but significant fact that Chiefs know how to win at Allianz Park under pressured circumstances as they did last season to set up a nail biting end to the season.

It also appears that our very own Giraffe on Steroids (Damien Welch) is back in full training and may feature in the squad for this match.

My feeling is that he may take a bench seat as our second row has been going well lately especially with regards the lineout where Geoff Parling appears to be masterminding things.  However it's not just Geoff who has been doing the damage to opposition throws as both Don Armond and Ollie Atkins have been poicking up steals.  Indeed The Don has been picking up plaudits after most games for his allround performance.

I don't see too many changes from the side that beat Saints last week although Dolly may return at fullback although Lachie Turner showed a lot of class in his Prem debut and looks another shrewd Baxter signing.

Whatever the side that Rob Baxter selects I think they'll really look to impose themselves on the game with forward intensity and flowing backs moves.

Can't say I'm overly optimistic about this one, don't think we're quite on the sort of form we need to be on to beat Sarries on their turf but we have enough of a cushion that we can afford to take a hit here.

I've decided at the eleventh hour to make the journey. I have to admit to not being overly confident and would take a LBP and wrap it up safely for the trip home!
However, our boys have a habit of proving people wrong and who knows. If Sarries England representatives feature it will be um heap big hill to climb.

COME ON EX!!

Time for a pipe of Old Toby!

With Tomas Francis suspended, Campagnaro injured and Nowell unable to play on plastic, we only have LCD returning from international duty. If they play their full complement of internationals we could be under the pump on this one! However our never say die attitude has pulled us through before so onwards and upwards! I will be there with Number One son - COME ON YOU CHIEFS

We threw it away at home, need to keep playing our own game and they are beatable.
Losing BP is important as we have the in form team at the moment Wasps visiting soon. They could be challenging for second spot, last thing we want is a trip to Tiggers where the crowd seems to effect ref decisions.

Turnovers could be the important one in this game going to have to keep Itoje away from the ball

I read somewhere that getting 6N players back (or internationals from any major tournament they've been involved in) can be disruptive in the short term - those who've slogged away while the 'stars' have been off doing glamour a bit peeved at being shunted aside, the returning players still not down to earth after stardom (possibly even worse after a grand slam), etc. So, who knows, this might not be a bad weekend to line up against Sarries. Clearly, if we could get revenge for the defeat down here, life would be very sweet indeed.
