That's the first block of Prem games completed and it's certainly been a mixed bag for the Chiefs and here's how the table looks.

* Chiefs opponents
We're still stacking up the bonus points with 5 to date worth another in the Win column. It's difficult to pin down but Chiefs don't seem to be doing our usual thing and getting a synergistic outcome.  5th place after the first AP block is no disaster and top 4 is certainly achievable but we're going to have to find some consistency from somewhere.  Although we have 3 in the loss column only the Sarries loss was without a losing point and we could/should have won the other two.  Had we done so it might have felt better but the decisive performance would still have been missing.  I think we're lacking sharpness in both decision making and application for the whole 80 minutes and it's going to seem strange to some but I think there are signs of progress over last season in some areas.  However these aren't enough to compensate from some basic errors.  None of this should take anything away from our opposition who will all be looking to improve on last season.  Sarries still look like a tough nut to crack but Quins have shown it can be done and whilst Wasps are scoring tries for fun they're still leaking a few.  It will be interesting to see how Bath and Tigers are affected by the International windows.  We shouldn't be too badly affected with just Jack, Henry and Luke likely to be involved with England and Thom Francis, Moray Low and Campo with their respective National sides.  Realistically we've only seen Henry and Luke playing regularly so far and we should see some of our longer term absentees returning by then.  I think we've definately missed Dave Ewers and the go forward he gives us.
