You can bet your bottom dollar the Gloucester pack will be working on how to defend rolling mauls in training this week ...
Our inability to spot Quins from rolling round the back of their mauls cost us dearly as Quins fought back to win 25-18 with three tries - two from rolling mauls.
The other major factor was that after starting off in superb form Billy Twelvetrees lost his kicking touch. He slotted some superb kicks to put us 12-0 up but then missed four kicks which were relatively easy by his standards.
His drop in confidence was mirrored throughout the side and Quins were quick to take advantage.
David Humphreys says he is not unduly concerned as his side was hit by international call-ups. However, if you sign international players you know that will happen and you strengtrhen your squad to provide cover.
We obviously have work to do in that area especially in terms of the front five.
