It must be some kind of record in Premiership Rugby - Glaws select an unchanged starting XV for the third time in a row as we face Rifles Cup rivals Bristol at Kingsholm (Saturday 4.30) ..

That means the coaches  have resisted the temptation to interrupt some much better performances by automatically recalling the international contingent on their return.

So Greg Laidlaw and Ross Moriarty will have to be content with places on the bench.  James Hook will continue at full back as he edges towards the rapidly filling Kingsholm departure lounge.

Sadly it's a bottom of the table local derby but that won't make any difference - it will still be muck and bullets and local pride at stake with the added factor  that Brizz desperately need the pointss and we are  eager to open up the gap between ourselvces and the bottom place our visitors currently occupy. With Wuss down there as well its not a good time for West Country rugby.

Gloucs: 15. James Hook; 14. Charlie Sharples, 13. Matt Scott, 12. Mark Atkinson, 11. Henry Purdy; 10. Billy Burns, 9. Willi Heinz (captain); 1. Paddy McAllister, 2. Richard Hibbard, 3. John Afoa; 4. Tom Savage, 5. Mariano Galarza; 6. Lewis Ludlow, 7. Jacob Rowan, 8. Ben Morgan

Reps: 16. Tom Lindsay, 17. Josh Hohneck, 18. Paul Doran-Jones, 19. Joe Latta, 20. Ross Moriarty, 21. Greig Laidlaw, 22. Billy Twelvetrees, 23. Ollie Thorley

Brizz make a number of changes despite getting a bonus point against Tigers.

Jack Wallace and Adrian Jarvis come into the backs and up front Rob Hawkins is selected at hooker, while Jon Fisher will be at lock.

Bristol: 15. Jason Woodward; 14. Ryan Edwards, 13. Jack Tovey, 12. Will Hurrell, 11. Jack Wallace; 10. Adrian Jarvis, 9. Rhodri Williams; 1. Kyle Traynor, 2. Rob Hawkins, 3. Gaston Cortes, 4. Jon Fisher, 5. Mark Sorenson, 6. Mitch Eadie, 7. Olly Robinson, 8. Jordan Crane (c).

Reps: 16. Marc Jones, 17. Ryan Bevington, 18. Jamal Ford-Robinson, 19. James Phillips, 20. Nick Fenton-Wells, 21. Will Cliff, 22. Billy Searle, 23. Luke Arscott.
