Hohneck

Interesting Euopean encounter in store tonight with the arrival of a massive La Rochelle pack. They'll' pack down down against debutant Josh Hohneck the former Highlanders prop ...

There's lots of changes from the side which beat Bristol last week but we will see the return of some big hitters in skipper Greig Laidlaw, Ross Moriarty and David Halaifonua.

In the back, Ollie Thorley is on the right wing in place of Charlie Sharples who drops to the bench alongside new boy Tom Denton, while Freddie Clarke is named after looking good in the Anglo-Welsh cup.

La Rochelle are going well and are currently fourth in thre Top 14 and top of the Pool. A win tonight is a must as we are off to La Rochelle next week for another bruising encounter.

Gloucester: David Halaifonua; Ollie Thorley, Matt Scott, Mark Atkinson, Henry Purdy; Billy Burns, Greig Laidlaw (c); Josh Hohneck, Motu Matu'u, Salesi Ma'afu, Tom Savage, Joe Latta, Ross Moriarty, Matt Kvesic, Gareth Evans

Reps: Richard Hibbard, Yann Thomas, Paul Doran-Jones, Tom Denton, Freddie Clarke, Callum Braley, Charlie Sharples, Lewis Ludlow
