Fisher As Good As His Tweet

Laurie Fisher has indeed fallen on his sword. The 15 points shipped in the last seven minutes against Quins was the final straw for the charismatic Aussie who tweeted : "Unbelievable capitulation. Clearly not good enough. My responsibility. Time to make room for someone else" ..

He leaves with the club's best wishes and it will be intersting to sere what David Humphreys does now.

Will he bring in somone new as Head Coach or appoint from within while the toing and froing over whether the club can be bought by Mohed Altrad?

If that does happen it is being strongly rumoured that Phillipe St Andre will return with his own coaching cohort.

Something had to happen. He clearly feels he can take them no further.
