Last League Game

Laidlaw Skippers

Its not a surprise that Glaws make a host of changes for the visit of second placed Chiefs - but is it with one eye on next week's European final or because we were mullered by Bath last week ?

David Humphreys says our attacking was poor at the Rec -  so was the defence when we shipped so many second half tries.

However, there's a host of players coming in for the last game and they will be keen to stake a claim for selection in Edinburgh next Friday.

Greg Laidlaw skippers on his last league game for the club and Matt Scott is back after injury in the backs.  Charlie Sharples returns on the wing and Bill Twelvetrees wil be at fly half.

In the engine room Paddy McAllister returns at prop, Tom Savage replaces Jeremy Thrush in the second row and in the back row  Freddie Clarke,  Lewis Ludlow get the nod.

As we can only now achieve seventh place it looks like most eyes are on Stade Francais next week.
