Morgan Returns

Ben Morgan

By New Cherry
December 29 2017

Ben Morgan will want to forget the second half of 2017 but he is ending it in the right way with his return to the side to take on Sharks at Kingsholm (kick off 3.00)..

It will be his first game since October thanks to a recurring calf injury. Fingers crossed this time.

He's one of six changes to the side which lost at Wasps and which owes Sale one following the big 57-10 up North in September.

Josh Hohneck starts in the front row with Jeremy Thrush also in for Ed Slater.

In the backs Willi Heinz is injured,  so Ben Vellacott starts with Tom Savage leading the side. Andy Symons is in the centre with Billy Twelvetrees  and David Halaifonua comes in for Ollie Thorley on the wing.

Revenge should be ours.

Gloucs: 15. Tom Marshall; 14. Charlie Sharples, 13. Billy Twelvetrees, 12. Andy Symons, 11. David Halaifonua; 10. Billy Burns, 9. Ben Vellacott; 1. Josh Hohneck, 2. James Hanson, 3. John Afoa; 4. Tom Savage (captain), 5. Jeremy Thrush; 6. Ruan Ackermann, 7. Lewis Ludlow, 8. Ben Morgan

Reps: Richard Hibbard,  Cameron Orr,  Fraser Balmain, Ed Slater, Freddie Clarke,  Callum Braley,  Henry Trinder,  Jason Woodward
