Ospreys Fly In

Freddie Clarke

It's Anglo Welsh this week - and the visit of Ospreys for a Friday night kick off at 7.45 ..

Ospreys, of course, are not in our group (Pool One)  where we lie in third place behind Bath and Wasps.

It's all very confusing tbh but this is how it works...

Each team in pool 1 shall play each team in pool 4 once and each team in pool 2 shall play each team in pool 3 once More here.

There are four pools and the winners of each pool go into the semis so we need to beat Ospreys to stand any chance of overeauling Bath and Wasps who both have two more points than us after two games played.

Regardless,  it's a game of rugby and Freddie Clarke cElebrates his new contract by being made skipper for the first time.

This is the team he will lead:

Gloucs: 15. David Halaifonua; 14. Henry Purdy, 13. Henry Trinder, 12. Mark Atkinson, 11. Ollie Thorley; 10. Billy Burns, 9. Callum Braley; 1. Cameron Orr, 2. Richard Hibbard, 3. Fraser Balmain; 4. Ed Slater, 5. Mariano Galarza; 6. Freddie Clarke (captain), 7. Will Safe, 8. Ben Morgan

Reps;  Henry Walker,  Paddy McAllister,. Gareth Denman,  Callum Allen,  Gareth Evans,  Ben Vellacott,  Matt Scott,  Tom Hudson.
