Tigers Tamed

Henry Trinder

Still unbeaten at home and entertaining the Cherry and White faithful. It was never easy against a competitive Tigers and at 14-14 at half time it was anyone's game.

Not so long ago we would have folded in the last ten minutes but this side now has the ability to  tough it out and the 24-17 victory was deservedly ours.

It takes us up to fourth in the Premiershipp with Wasps in third and Bath in fifth ahead of the chasers.

We can thank Henry Trinder for his two tries which levelled the scores at the break. Billy Twelvetrees got the decisive second half try when Tigers could only manage a penalty.

Happy days.
