Scott's Try

By New Cherry
February 19 2018

If we are to hold onto a play-off spot we will have to perform better away from home. The 25-15 defeat at Sixways was a blow but one we cannot complain about as a determined home side worked their socks - specially in the second half.

We had the lion's share of the game after the break as we chased a 22-10 deficit but handling errors and inaccuracies meant we never really looked like overhauling a resurgent Warriors.

Matt Scott got our first half try only fro Warriors to make the most of Henry Trinder's trip to the sin-bin for not rolling away.

They deserved their 12 point half time lead and despite Trinder going over in the second half we couldn't turn pressure into points . As a rsult we now have Falcons and Bath breathing down our necks.

It's Wasps up next on Saturday - fortunately the game is at Kingsholm
