Eight Pointer

Sharples

By New Cherry

Massive game this weekend with play off rivals Wasps visiting Kingsholm. They're six points ahead in third place so the figures are pretty obvious - win and we're either one or two points behind them - lose and we are two bonus point wins behind ...

Lasts week's defeat at Wuss is costing us dear but a five pointer this week would go a long way to restoring the balance.

So we make  make five changes to last week's side.

Notably Charlie Sharples is back from injury with  Mark Atkinson in the centre alongside Twelvetrees. Injured skipper Willi Heinz is replaced by Callum Braley with Ed Slater taking charge.

Up front the experience of Richard Hibbard will bel available from the start.

Gloucs: 15. Jason Woodward; 14. Charlie Sharples, 13. Billy Twelvetrees, 12. Mark Atkinson, 11. Henry Trinder; 10. Billy Burns, 9. Callum Braley; 1. Josh Hohneck, 2. Richard Hibbard, 3. John Afoa; 4. Ed Slater (captain), 5. Mariano Galarza; 6. Jake Polledri, 7. Lewis Ludlow, 8. Ruan Ackermann

Reps: Motu Matu'u, Paddy McAllister, Fraser Balmain, Tom Savage, Freddie Clarke,. Ben Vellacott, Matt Scott,. David Halaifonua
