Atkinson Comes In

By New Cherry

It doesn't happen very often. The Glouceaster team which takes to the Rec this saturday (kick off 4.45) will be the one which put up such a good opening day show in the win over Saints.

Of course, every coach would like to keep a winning side but with the intensity of professional rugby it happens very rarely- which is no reflection on the efficacy of Saints' tackling last week.

The only change to the whole 22 man squad is on the bench where Mark Atkinson comes in for Owen Williams.

Bath were strident in pointiung out that their defeat at Bristol was not a derby loss - lets hope that's reserved for this week.

Gloucs: 15 Jason Woodward; 14. Charlie Sharples, 13. Henry Trinder, 12. Billy Twelvetrees, 11. Matt Banahan; 10. Danny Cipriani, 9. Callum Braley 1. Val Rapava Ruskin, 2. James Hanson, 3. Fraser Balmain; 4. Ed Slater (captain), 5. Mariano Galarza; 6. Ruan Ackermann, 7. Lewis Ludlow, 8. Ben Morgan

Reps: Franco Marais, Josh Hohneck, Ciaran Knight, Freddie Clarke,  Jake Polledri, Ben Vellacott,  Mark Atkinson,  Tom Hudson
