All Change For Castres

Ollie Thorley

By New Cherry
January 18 2019

There's nothing at stake for either side at Castres, unfortunately, so it's an opportunity to see some up and coming talent and some new combinations as we look to re-group in the Premiership . - our next two league games are at home to Chiefs and Sarries!

Perhaps a little surprisingly Ollie Thorley is one of the few players who keeps his place after the comprehensive defeat at the hands of Munster last week. Although he may well be on fire and celebvrating his deserved call up t the England Six Nations squad this week.

Eddie Jones has been somehat loathe to pick Cherry and Whites so let's hope this is a breakthroiugh. Good luck to Ollie.

He will line-up with only three others who were in the sidre which succumbed to the energy of the Irish - Grobler, Ludlow, and Tom Hudson are the others.

Gloucs: 15 Tom Hudson; 14. Matt Banahan, 13. Henry Trinder, 12. Owen Williams, 11. Ollie Thorley; 10. Lloyd Evans, 9. Ben Vellacott; 1. Alex Seville, 2. Henry Walker, 3. Ciaran Knight; 4. Tom Savage, 5. Gerbrandt Grobler; 6. Gareth Evans, 7. Lewis Ludlow (captain), 8. Freddie Clarke.

Reps: Todd Gleave, Paddy McAllister, Josh Hohneck,  Ed Slater,  Alex Craig,  Charlie Chapman,  Tom Seabrook,  Charlie Sharples
