Ackermann Try

By New Cherry
March 11 2019

BT Sport know what they're doing when they come to choose which games to cover live. Their cameras have been at Gloucester's last four games and when it comes to drama their audience has been richly served ..

Tow home wins against the current leaders was great stuff for the neutral and the "underdog" again triumphed last week when Bristol deservedly beat a lack lustre Glaws.

So we come to The Stoop. Third v fourth, home advantage for a Quins side on a great run and up against a Cherry and White outfit gaining a bit of reputation for not being a good travelling side.

So we promptly ripped up the scipt to produce some of our best rugby of the season and blow the home side away with two ris in the first 12 minutes.

Jason Woodward and Ruan Ackermann scored those tries  with Tom Marshall and Danny Cipriani adding two more in the second half.

Nathan Earle scoring a late consolation for the home side.

The bonus-point victory moves us to within two points of third-placed Quins.

Next game is on the 23rd when Wasps visit - sadly it wont be live on TV.
