Nothing To Lose

By New Cherry
May 20 2019

We go head to head with Sarries on their own pitch as underdogs. The home side go into the play-off semis as favourites following another excellent season and a throughly professional performance against Leinster in winning the European Championship.

So no point in turning up then?

Nope - dont write the Cherry and Whites off. Across the pitch we have the talent to win any game, and if the coaches can come up wth a game plan to disrupt the Sarries machine,  there's every chance the mercurial talents behind the pack can upset the odds.

We go into the game with a host of big names rested and quite a few staking their claim after the thriller at Sale where we scored five tries but still lost 46-41.

One big worry is that Ollie Thorley went off after just a quarter of an hour with another injury to the knee which has csaused him problems in the second half of the sason.

He is one of the players with the potential to turn a game so there'll be an anxious wait for the physios report.

Tickets for Saturday's game - kick off 1.30 - can be bought here

I for one am taking nothing for granted and am looking forward to the semi final, albeit nervously. Whatever happens and whomever wins I will go to the final in my sarries top and enjoy the day. Good luck to all four teams involved but don't hold it against me if I wish a little more good luck to Sarries.

I was sat next to a family of Gloucester fans in the North Stand at Allianz Park. What a lovely family & we had a good matter about Gloucester & Sarries players.

I learned some facts about Gloucester players I didn’t know & she was interested in my facts about Sarries.

They are a credit to rugby & to Gloucester.
