Not Quite, This Time

Fly half Jackson

By Gary Watton
June 18 2016

For the second successive week, a much-changed Ireland amassed 26 points, including two converted tries once more (from the Leinster duo of Toner and then Heaslip) but there would be no fairytale ending, as the ragged hosts awoke from their slumber and demolished the tourists in the final quarter, thereby denying the Irish a first-ever series win, but the men in green will have one more opportunity in next week's decider to emulate England's heroics and make rugby history.
