Our opponents for Saturday 7th. Oct. 20217 - Cambridge

This week we are hosts to Cambridge r.f.c. who play tyhier home games at the 1,250 capacity ground in Granchester Road, Newnham, Cambridge. They were formed in 1923 and following promotion from National league 2 South in 2016 they are now in thier second spell in National League 1 having previously been here in the 2009 - 2010 season when the leagues were renamed, then being relegated in the 2012 - 2013 season coming back again last season.

In 1993 the club was offered the opportunity to buy the lease on it's existing three pitches and to buy adjoining land for a further three pitches from Kings College.

Floodlights were to one of the pitches in 2003 in order to enable evening games.

The clubs current squad lists some 41 players and they run three senior teams with a developement team and a social team as well as the national league squad.

They currently lie in 9th. place in the league on 12 points having won two & lost 3 to date with two try scoring points and two losing bonus points from the three loses.
