We welcome Hull I's back to Brickfields again this week, at least it should be a bit warmer for them down here. They currently are in 11th. place in the league after having a five point win against Old Elthamians winning by 27 - 11,  the same team that held us to a 17 - 17 draw here at Brickfields just a few weeks ago ! helping them to get a bit or a cushion between themselves and Loughborough who are in 14th. place.

Hull Ionions were formed in 1989 by the merger of Hull and East Riding, formed in 1875 and Ionions who were formed in 1926. they went on to become the first club to play in National One from the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Running some 21 teams three of them ladies/girls the other 18 are mens/boys ranging from under 6's up to their 1st. team squad as it seems do a number of other National One clubs, well done, it would be great for us to increase our numbers in this way sometime, embracing more of the local youngsters in the area.

Seems to be a proper Rugby Club, A pity we don't run a few more teams.
