Preview: Albion v Loughborough

This weekend's fixutre is the final home game of the season and sees the return of Loughborough.

Whilst they may be remembered for the shenanigans of last season, this season has seen them struggling at the bottom of the league. After a really poor start, they have now started to put a few results together having won three out of their last five games.

The peculiarity of Loughborough's season is that they have the second best try scoring record in the league (Albion are 8th) and have collected a bonus point for their efforts in 18 matched. However, they have been let down by their defence, being the worst by a wide margin. Mini fact: in the reverse fixture Albion's 34-6 victory is the only game where Loughborough failed to score a try.

This has left them close to the bottom of the league, still within a shot of escaping the the drop, but with Ampthill their final opponents they will be targeting this weekend as a must=win fixture.

We can expect them to spread the ball about and play a fast tempo game, with the backs looking to find the gaps. Albion will need to keep their concentration and stick to the task in order to secure the win.

Weather - cloudy and a little on the chilly side. It will be dry so the game should go ahead. A moderate breeze shouldn't be too challenging for the kickers.

Player to watch: Callum Watson

Forecast - a high scoring game for both sides, with Albion coming out on top.
