My trip to Montauban
By Dominic Armfield
December 19 2008
Fans of any sport come from all age groups. For the young, though, following your team must be very exciting - especially when you get to travel to distant, exotic places and stay up late. One lucky young person was 9-year-old Dominic Armfield who went with his granddad to see Sale play Montauban. This is his story...
MY TRIP TO MONTAUBAN

By Dominic Armfield   age 9

On Friday 12th December I travelled with my granddad to Toulouse airport with KLM airlines,  I went via Amsterdam airport. We nearly missed the flight to Toulouse because my granddad was too slow, but the Airport staff held the shuttle bus up for us. When we got to the hotel Kyriad we checked in and went and looked for a restaurant for 30 minutes, when we got back to the hotel there was a restaurant right in front of it, (how did we miss it ?).  Then the next day after a big breakfast we went to the market and then went to the match (on Saturday),we went on the fun bus (the only fun was the crazy driver!!) . The Sharks got beat 13-12  but Fernandez Lobbe, Chabal, Tuilagi and Hodgson played really well and I had a great time at my first European away match. We came back on Sunday 14th December. I wasn’t tired because I slept on Saturday night unlike Friday, because my granddad didn’t snore. Hopefully I will get to go to another one where we win!

If the SSSC were to run coaches to every home game would you use it and what would you be prepared to pay? If you answer yes, please go to thread and suggest a pick up point.
