Graeme Bond has won the Back of the Season poll, notching up almost twice as many votes as his nearest rival. This has been his first season at Sale and he has been a constant, consistent presence in the team. Bond has scored five Premiership tries although the second placed player in the poll, Mark Cueto, is the league's second highest try scorer with 11. Bryan Redpath came a very close third with Vaughan Going, Steve Hanley and Jos Baxendell coming up the rear.

Chris Jones came out as Forward of the Season last week and it is really pleasing that these newer players are proving so popular with the supporters. This week you can choose between the Forward and Backs of the Season to find users' overall favourite player of 2002/03.
