Massa Aims For
Third Turkish
Win In A Row

Ferrari's Felipe Massa is determined to make it three wins in a row at the Turkish Grand Prix, during this weekend's race at Instanbul. Massa is no doubt strong here, and with Ferrari's current form being the head of the field, he looks likely to repeat his performance of the past two seasons. This is what he had to say:

"The circuit in Istanbul is obviously a bit special for me. Why? Because, it was here in 2006 that I scored my first ever Formula 1 victory and then I repeated myself last year, on both occasions starting from pole. There is every reason to think we can fight for the win. It has some quick corners like Turn 8 and some medium speed corners, but you also have a very tricky final sector which is quite slow where you need plenty of downforce. So you need to find the right combination of speed and downforce. By far the best corner is Turn 8, which seems to go on forever. It is very challenging for the drivers and very nice to drive through when you get it right. It is really fun from a driving point of view.

You do not need to be a mind-reader to work out what is my target for this weekend: I want to record a hat-trick of Turkish victories! It might be possible, but you can never be sure. At the last race, starting third on the grid, I was unable to win on a track where overtaking is very difficult. At the moment, I am enjoying a tough competition with Kimi and my second place in Spain was still a good result. But I will be trying everything to go one better this Sunday!

I prefer Felipe to win here, rather than Kimi.
Felipe isn't as strong on slow circuits so better he win here and let kimi take Monaco by the throat.....

This will keep both our drivers equally motivated.....good for WCC points....

True, the site was updated a day later than the article. From Sam's words at McC board, it seems that Dale had to ask for the site to be updated, so that could explain the 1 day delay.

Three in a row would be great and bring Massa closer in contention. Both our drivers must fight for the WDC this year. That way we'll be certain that one wins.

And he's done it and is now 2nd behind Kimi in the WDC - ahead of Hammy because he has two wins to Hammy's one.
Way to go Massa!

way to go massa and ferrari if it wasnt for kimi backing of in first corner (well it was either that or lose his nose) would probably have been third 1-2 in 3 races
