Accommodation in Leeds Again it depends on what you're after. If you just need somewhere to crash so you don't have to drive home so late at night, then there are plenty of small B&B's and guesthouses very close to the stadium that start from as little as £20 per night. If you get the chat going in the Skyrack or the Oak and are prepared to take the risk, then you may find a "friendly" student will take you in for the night..... But no. I can sense you're used to a bit more of the creature comforts. You want high class, five star living. The Headingley Lodge has opened this season to almost universal acclaim. Located within the grounds of the stadium itself, it provides a high standard of room (perhaps not five- but definitely four-star class of accommodation), on-site parking, and apparently free entry to the game! And at £39.50 per night it's an absolute bargain of the century. (There's only 36 rooms though, so book early...) And of course being the capital of West Yorkshire (ooohh, bit controversial!), the City of Leeds can boast all the finest international hotel chains (so you can spend those loyalty points on something you really want to do – watch a great game of Rugby!)
“But wait a minute!” I hear you say. “My other half doesn’t want to watch rugby. Where can he/she go to keep him/herself amused while the game is on?” Well, aside from the obvious riposte (“You need seriously to examine your commitment to this relationship” ), there are a stupendous amount of things to see and do in and around Leeds. |
