Round 3 of the Championship season is this coming weekend. After last week's derby between Doncaster and Rotherham there is another local derby as the Knights visit the building site to take on Yorkshire Carnegie on Sunday afternoon. With a debut

Doncaster has made a strong start to the season with a win in Jersey on the opening day followed by a thumping victory at home to Rotherham last weekend. The Knights will come to LS6 brimming with confidence and keen to make it three wins on the trot. This week they have signed former Tyke Curtis Wilson who will, no doubt, play a blinder on Sunday.

After the shambles of pre-season and an opening day defeat at the Richmond Athletic Ground against London Scottish, Carnegie got back to winning ways at Lady Bay last weekend. Louis Brown, a student, scored on his debut and Callum Irvine opened up the Nottingham defence with a sparkling break and dabbed down across the line. Carnegie has also signed a winger, Harry Davies, on loan from Bath recently. He will make his debut on Sunday, replacing Brown.

Carnegie has also borrowed a prop from Caldy and he replaces Thraves on the bench. Mayhew is back on the bench replacing Graham and there is a first appearance for Richard Beck, also from the bench.

So with only one change to last week's winning team J-Lo is giving the lads a vote of confidence ahead of the Donny match. We go into the game as underdogs, which suits me. I think that it will be close but that we will snatch a victory and send Donny home with just a losing bonus point.
