Ticket Office Telephone: 08700 60 60 50
Office is open Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm, Saturday 9am - 12 noon, and on match days. The staff are very helpful and should be able to assist you with any queries. Only do make sure you say you want LEEDS CARNEGIE tickets, once the Rugby League season starts they tend to assume we’re all coming to see Rhinos!
You should not have a problem getting tickets on the day for games as Headingley is massive - even with the seating area of the Carnegie stand closed this season - and can hold something like 15,000 people. Both the South & North Stands have bars & toilet facilities. The club shop & clubhouse are over by the North Stand, which is the seated one backing onto the cricket ground. Both the South and North stands are covered - there is a roof on the Carnegie stand, but I can't vouch for how dry you stay in the standing areas therein!
There are 3 types of tickets available for matches. The choice is between standing, seating (not covered) and the posh bit – seated and covered! Concession prices apply to children under 16 years old, OAP's and NUS card holders.
The “Ground” or standing area Costs £ 15 for adults & £10 for concessions on the day. The adult price is the same whenever you buy, but the concessions (and by that we usually mean kids) are £7 if purchased in advance. These tickets let you into the uncovered West terrace behind the goal post, and the covered South Stand, where the majority tend to go. You should have no trouble getting a ticket for this area on the day. If you want a decent central spot in the South Stand get there 20 minutes or so before kick-off. It is possible to grab a spot on the low wall at the front of the South Stand if you're a child. If you're a grown-up, then the stewards will frown on you if you attempt to do any kind of wall-balancing!
The “Paddock Stand Seat” – the uncovered seating area Costs £18 for adults, & £13 for concessions. Again, the concession is £3 cheaper if purchased in advance. These are the blue seats at the front of the North Stand, closest to the pitch. Popular family area, as the kids tend to have a better view. If you want a group of seats in this area it is probably best to book your seats in advance - as well as the money you save!
The “Main Stand Seat” – or the posh corporate bit – a covered seating area Costs £21 for adults & £16 for concessions (£3 cheaper for concessions purchased in advance). This is the covered upper section of the North Stand, tends to be corporate guests and season ticket holders. As with the Paddock Stand area if you want a group of seats in this area then it is advisable to book your tickets prior to match day.
As already mentioned it is possibly to pay on the day at the turnstiles for a ground (standing ticket), however it is also possible to upgrade this to a seated ticket at the Ticket Transfer Booth, which is on the cricket concourse just down a bit from the club shop.
