Laws refereed in a comprehensible and consistent way
If the Referee thinks the ball travels forward from the passer it is forward
If the feed doesn’t go down the tunnel, it is feeding
If the player is off their feet they are out of the game
Referees with confidence to back their judgement, assistant Referees with the ability to see, understand and advise properly
Governance support for Referees rather than backing down at the first threat of legal action (a somewhat unwelcome newcomer to our game that seems to accompany those with deep pockets)
Don’t be afraid to lose
I don’t mean powder puff exhibition basket ball but let’s go for it sometimes rather than playing the percentages
NB this does not apply if we re-sign Ryan Lamb

Acts of God may befall
Marketing people
Obnoxious trolls

Know it alls
Agents
Lawyers
Snarl, grunt, bite, flair, accusations of cheating and general dislike
Because if we get back there, we will have been successful
