Directions and Parking

How to find us by car :

If traveling by motorway leave the M1 AT junction 21. Leave the M69 at the end of the motorway. In both cases follow signs for LEICESTER A5460.

Soon this becomes a dual carriageway with a concrete central reservation and service roads to either side separated by wire mesh fencing. Keep straight on at traffic lights.

The road soon becomes labelled Narborough Road. Go straight on at 2 more sets of lights. You eventually go under a railway bridge with GOURANGA written on it. Get into the right hand lane.

At the next set of lights turn right. The sign post says Leicester S &E/ University /Infirmary 1 mile. At the next set of lights go straight on ( involves a dog leg). To go straight on stay in the lane marked CITY.

You will see the old and new football grounds to your right. At the next lights go straight on. The infirmary is to your left, the rugby ground is straight ahead. To park you can look for parking signs and use one of several multi-storey car parks.

There is a temporary car park costing £3 next to the ground which fills up an hour before kick off. To reach this, turn left at the t-junction in front of the ground keep in the right hand lane. You then need to follow the road through a set of traffic lights right round almost 180 degrees.

This takes you to the other side of the ground. Just before the ground turn right into the car park entrance. If the car park is full continue straight on and park in the Cinema car park behind the ground. Hide your shirts, scarves, flags etc. as they will turn you away if they think you are rugby parking.

If arriving other than by motorway follow city centre then Infirmary signs. The Infirmary is well signposted all round the city and is opposite the rugby ground.

Arriving by train :

The train station is 500 yards from the ground. Leave the station , cross London road and go down Waterloo Way immediately opposite the station. The Royal and Sun Alliance building is on the corner of Waterloo Way. Waterloo Way becomes Tigers Way and ends opposite the ground.

Arriving by bus :

Buses will stop at St Margarets bus station. Take a number 49 from there to the ground.

Cycles:

There is a cycle storage shed under the Next Stand where your bike can be locked away during the game. It is near the E/F turnstile.
