Saracens Listening Guide

It's almost inevitable that, sometimes, you won't be able to get to Vicarage Road or, more often, to Sale or Newcastle on a Friday night. Fret not, as thesaracens.co.uk here provides a listening guide for you folks stuck at home or in the office when the Men in Black are out there on the pitch.
HOME GAMES

Sarries home games are normally broadcast on BBC Three Counties Radio's 630 and 1161 AM Medium Wave frequencies, but they sometimes go out on FM as well.

Below is a list Three Counties Radio FM frequencies and the areas they cover:


90.4 MHz FM -

East Herts (Hertford, Welwyn Garden City, Hoddesdon, Ware, Cheshunt and Hatfield). N.B. in some areas 103.8 FM may be stronger.

92.1 MHz FM –

South Herts (Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Abbots Langley, Borehamwood, Bushey, Rickmansworth, South Oxhey, Kings Langley and Croxley Green). N.B. In some of the above areas, 103.8 may be stronger.

94.7 MHz FM –

Aylesbury Vale (Aylesbury, Quainton, Winslow, Haddenham, and Princes Risborough)

95.5 MHz FM –

North Beds, North Herts (Bedford, Biggleswade, Hitchin, Shefford, Letchworth, Baldock, Flitwick, Ampthill).

98.0 MHz FM –

High Wycombe (High Wycombe, Flackwell Heath, Stokenchurch, Great Missenden, Prestwood)

103.8 MHz FM –

Beds and Herts (Luton, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard, Stevenage, Harpenden, St.Albans, Hemel, Berkhamsted, Tring)

104.5 MHz FM –

Milton Keynes and North Bucks (Milton Keynes, Newport Pagnell, Olney, Woburn Sands, Buckingham)

AWAY GAMES and ONLINE

BBC Three Counties Radio will normally broadcast away games on 630/1161 MW if they do not clash with Watford or Luton Town football matches, although there is no absolute guarantee of this.

However, Guinness Premiership teams are obliged to provide online commentary for games, so you will be able to listen to commentary via the internet. Online commentary is normally taken from the home team's local broadcaster, although sometimes BBC Five Live / Five Live Sports Extra will be the providers.

Sometimes, BBC 3 Counties Radio will provide online commentary for away games. thesaracens.co.uk will provide a direct link at the top of the message board to the 3CR media player and we will let you know as soon as possible whether there is a 3CR broadcast from grounds away from Vicarage Road.
