ERE Hits The Million Mark For A Second Time
By Glen Leat
February 1 2009
ERE broke its Pages Views record this month, moving past the one million mark for the second time in it's (almost) nine year history. One million(plus) was first achieved in May 2008 and this new record is amazing.

As would be expected of a fans' site, traffic is boosted by a controversial story and the news about Matt Stevens' drug problems was certainly controversial. ERE attracts a wide range of posters and readers, mainly I think because robust debate is encouraged and this approach is generally popular: in the same way as a rugby match is more enjoyable when the referee isn't keen to brandish yellow cards or penalise players at every opportunity.

ERE is also something of a social networking site, joining together friends and strangers across the country and long may this continue.

If you have any ideas for developing ERE please feel free to contact me. I already have some great writers who help me with match reports and previews, if you want to write for ERE contact me at glenleat@btinternet.com.
