Prog Rock Plus

(Revised June 07)

Following the response to the thread I started on the Messageboard about Progressive Rock bands from the late sixties and early seventies I thought I would give many of you sad people like me (in your late-forties plus) a bit of a laugh and an opportunity to dream of days gone by when you had long hair, walked around with an LP under your arm (preferably gate-fold double album) and tried to be really profound with your comments on whether Yes were a better band with Bill Bruford rather than Alan White on drums.

I have pulled together a list of websites for Prog Rock bands plus a few others (non-Prog Rock) who I think deserve a mention. Sadly this list defines much of my record collection.

If you have any other suggestions why not e-mail me the link and I will add it to this list. Before anyone starts moaning that this is not about rugby I don't care - indulge me just this once!

Most of this will be double Dutch to Coochie Coo, who probably had a season ticket to the Crawdaddy Club in Richmond in the mid sixties, but everyone else have fun...
